Love conquers all? Or is it lust? Or it is just the idea of love… or lust. Studied by professor Ida Caiazza, the letters forming this presentation tell true stories that happened between the middle of 1500 and the middle of 1600. We’ll meet Emilia Fiorentina, a married woman, suffering as her lover left her, Alvise Pasqualigo and a certain Vittoria who had a very spicy affair and the Catholic poet Ansaldo Ceba’ who fall for the young Jewish poet Sara and tried to convert her while loving her from afar.
