IN SCENA! ITALIAN THEATER FESTIVAL NY
The only Italian Theater Festival in North America.
Time: Every May, for a period of about two weeks.
Started in 2013, the year of Italian Culture in the States, In Scena! presents – each year – a survey of the best Italian Theater, from Italy, in New York. It features full productions that have already toured in Italy as well as readings of Italian plays in translation, panels, lectures and exchanges between Italian, NY based communities as well as International artists.
The goal is to promote greater awareness of Italian theater and Italian artists among New York theatergoers, and also to build a bridge between Italy and New York, between communities, so that they may each support and inspire the other.

ON STAGE! L'AMERICA E' DI SCENA
Created to celebrate independent, “Off Off” American Theater in Italy, OnStage!festival follows in the long-running, successful footsteps of InScena! Italian Theater Festival in New York, and mirrors it across the ocean. OnStage!festival is the American Theater Festival in Rome, Italy. It is organized by KIT Italia and The International Theatre, in partnership with Kairos Italy Theater and with several Italian and American institutions.
